Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

Galaxy Gold Products, Inc., doing business as Veroni Jewelers (“Veroni,” “we,” “us”), operates www.veronijewelers.com and related checkout, account, and customer-service channels (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information. It is written for customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area.

Controller: Galaxy Gold Products, Inc., 728 South Hill Street, Los Angeles, California 90014, United States. Contact: info@veronijewelers.com.

We process payments and host the storefront with Shopify Inc. and its affiliates (“Shopify”). Shopify’s privacy information is at shopify.com/legal/privacy.

1. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

  • Identity and contact data — name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses, account login identifiers.
  • Order and commercial data — products viewed or purchased, ring size, gemstone and gold-color choices, gift messages, returns, repairs, warranty claims, customer-service correspondence.
  • Payment data — payment method type and limited card details processed by Shopify Payments and the card networks. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, referring URLs, and pages visited.
  • Cookie and advertising data — cookies, pixels, and similar technologies used for store operation, analytics, and (where permitted) advertising measurement.
  • Marketing preferences — newsletter sign-up, consent or withdrawal of consent.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

2. How we collect it

  • Directly from you at checkout, account creation, contact or returns forms, email, and phone.
  • Automatically when you browse, including via cookies and Shopify’s storefront analytics.
  • From service providers who help us fulfill orders (carriers, payment processors) when they send delivery or payment status.

3. Why we use it

  • To take, make, ship, and support your order, including made-to-order production, insurance, tracking, returns, resizing, and warranty work.
  • To create and operate your customer account so you can view orders and manage addresses.
  • To detect fraud, secure the store, and meet tax, customs, accounting, and consumer-law duties.
  • To send transactional email (order, shipping, return). These are not marketing.
  • To send marketing email only if you opt in, or as otherwise allowed by law. You may unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
  • To show or measure advertising where we have a lawful basis (consent in the EEA/UK; opt-out rights in applicable U.S. states and Canada).

Lawful bases under UK/EU GDPR include: performance of a contract (orders, accounts, shipping); legal obligation (tax, consumer rights, customs); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, limited analytics) where they are not overridden by your rights; and consent (non-essential cookies, email marketing, certain advertising).

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to run the business:

  • Shopify — storefront, checkout, payments, accounts, and customer privacy tools.
  • Payment networks and Shopify Payments — to charge and refund you.
  • Carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, and similar) — to deliver and insure packages.
  • Workshops and finishers we control — production, sizing, repair, and hallmarking of your piece.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, insurers, and lawyers under confidentiality.
  • Authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
  • Advertising and analytics partners — only if those tools are installed and, where required, only after consent or with an opt-out path. Advertising and analytics tools we use or may use include Shopify analytics, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads (including conversion tracking and remarketing), Google Merchant Center product listings, and the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel with Conversions API. In the EEA/UK these marketing tools run only after cookie consent. In applicable U.S. states you can opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising at Your Privacy Choices.

We do not sell your postal address list. Some U.S. state laws treat advertising cookies as a “sale” or “share” of personal information. You can opt out at Your Privacy Choices and via the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where supported.

5. Cookies

Essential cookies run checkout, the cart, account login, and security. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland and are only set if you accept them (or a similar choice) on the cookie banner. You can change your mind in the banner or browser settings. See Cookie Policy.

6. International transfers

We are based in California. Shopify, carriers, and other processors may process data in the United States, Canada, the EEA, the UK, and other countries. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on adequacy decisions and/or Standard Contractual Clauses (and UK addenda) used by Shopify and similar vendors.

7. Retention

We keep order, tax, and warranty records for as long as needed to fulfill the contract, run the lifetime warranty, and meet legal retention periods (typically up to 7 years for accounting; longer if a dispute is open). Account data is kept while the account is open and deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request, except records we must keep.

8. Security

We use Shopify’s HTTPS checkout, access controls, and insured shipping procedures. No method of transmission is perfectly secure. Do not email full card numbers.

9. Your rights — United States

Depending on your state (including California CPRA, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and similar laws), you may request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, and opt-out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Submit requests to info@veronijewelers.com or use Your Privacy Choices. We will verify the request. You may use an authorized agent as allowed by law. California residents also have the right to limit use of sensitive personal information; we do not use sensitive personal information for extra purposes that would require that control.

Shine the Light: we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct mail marketing.

10. Your rights — Canada (PIPEDA and provincial law)

You may request access to and correction of personal information we hold, and you may withdraw consent for optional processing, subject to legal or contractual restrictions. Contact info@veronijewelers.com. You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or your provincial commissioner.

11. Your rights — EEA and United Kingdom

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (for example, the ICO in the UK). To exercise rights, email info@veronijewelers.com. We will respond within one month, or as required by law.

12. Do not track / GPC

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising for that browser, as described on Your Privacy Choices.

13. Changes

We will post updates here and change the date above. Material changes to EEA/UK processing will be notified as required by law.
